Tai Chi for Better Balance

Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is designed to improve the strength, balance, and physical functioning of individuals.The program uses eight forms that have been derived from the traditional 24-form Yang-style Tai Chi. 

Each class begins with 5-10 minutes of warm-up exercises, then moves on to 40-45 minutes of tai chi instruction and practice, and ends with 5 minutes of cool-down exercises. 

This class is offered on Mondays at 9 am. Classes are taught by personal trainer, Jennifer Greenwell.

Multi-class passes are available. The pricing structure is as follows:

  • $20.00 Drop-In
  • $75.00/5 Classes ($15/class)
  • $140.00/10 Classes ($14/class)
  • $260.00/20 Classes ($13/class)

***If you purchase a package of multiple classes there are expiration dates. Please see below. If you already attend MELT classes, you may use your MELT class pass for Tai Chi as well.

  • 5 classes: 2 months from the date first class is used
  • 10 classes: 4 months from the date first class is used
  • 20 classes: 6 months from the date first class is used
